Think outside the box.
Talk to people in elevators and in line-ups. Sing along with the radio. Smile at strangers. Watch the clouds go by. Think outside the box...colour outside the lines.
Volunteer.
Choose something important– community projects, social issues, politics, health care – and volunteer. You’ll help change the world, and meet the nicest people doing it.
Meet new people.
You’re never too old to make new friends! What’s more fun than people?
Take time for yourself.
It’s tough work being a parent and/or caregiver! Reduce burn-out by taking some time each day to relax and re-charge. Stop being a martyr!
Learn a new skill.
How about hang-gliding, sailing, clowning or bungee-jumping? The important thing is to find something you’ve always wanted to do and give it a try.
Make someone’s day.
Little things mean the most! Make reservations at a favourite restaurant, play catch with the kids, buy flowers for no reason or plan a romantic get-away. The sky’s the limit…
Laugh out loud.
Not just a quiet snicker, we’re talking about a real belly-laugh. Collect silly hats, crazy masks, animal noses, outrageous accessories…and wear them! Start laughing!
Go for a walk.
It’s amazing what you find in your own neighbourhood. Talk to your neighbours. Admire the gardens. Stop and enjoy a treat in a local shop. Get back into your community.
Keep it simple.
Stop living to have and start living to become. Clear the clutter from your home and office and create space to grow. Reduce, re-use, recycle.

Bless you for "being there" and for "making my days" much better in my work environment. I have found a "Play" partner and one who "chooses her attitude" daily in the most positive sense.
